Dining in La Mancha at Brindisa Tapas
The Foods & Flavours of Don Quixote
Somewhere in La Mancha, the greatest novel ever written begins with an empty stomach and a head full of dreams.
This spring, we’re bringing it to the table. An evening of six Spanish courses, regional wines, and live readings at Brindisa Tapas Battersea – where the spirit of Cervantes meets the pleasure of a long, unhurried dinner.
Discover the flavours of La Mancha
Each course is drawn from the pages of Don Quixote – dishes the characters eat, share, and argue over, reimagined for the evening. Think curds with honey and walnuts, partridge with pickled turnips, bacon-wrapped roasted goat with raisins and acorns, and a La Mancha cheese board to close. Every dish is paired with a regional wine, from a Macabeo out of Finca Sandoval to a Garnacha from Viticola Mentridana. Between courses, live readings bring the story to life – the hospitality, the hunger, the absurdity.
A six-course journey through the foods and flavours of La Mancha, available exclusively at Brindisa Tapas Battersea. Sancho would approve.
